solo show at Still Point Gallery
I'm having my first solo show at the Still Point Gallery (2026 Murray Hill Road, Room 106, Cleveland, OH 44106)
next Friday, May 17 from 6 to 9 pm.
Here's their description of the show:
Still Point Gallery is excited to present and host "Pool Party" (a fitting "prelude" to summer) for Angela Oster, one of our favorite Cleveland artists.
At one level, Angela's watercolor paintings might be described as "whimsical", even cartoon-like, but upon closer examination they capture our imagination and connect emotionally with each of us.
There is a wonderfully benign pathos in the subtle expressions of her characters; her drawings are "open" and accessible - ultimately, transcendent.
